The Illusion of Life's Illusions - Part 2 of 2 ,Carole Hynes, owner of The Spiritual Doorway
The following are a few of many books that will guide you into making a conscious transition out of your old habits and patterns. You will see that because of these books - a whole new reality awaits you.
The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield
The Celestine Prophecy: An Experiential Guide by James Redfield and Carol Andrienne
Angel Therapy: Healing Messages for Every Area of Your Life by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D.
My third observation was that we all have a purpose in life. I believe that my purpose in life is to guide others as God guides me. Though I have learned to change many of my habits, patterns and beliefs - I am constantly experiencing changes due to the many faces of life. Thank God! Otherwise life would be quite mind-numbing - imagine that!
Thus, I am happy to share with you a few of my choice philosophies that I have used as guidance in the process of helping others to find answers to life's baffling questions:
--Habits and patterns won't change until you recognize them
--No one can force you to change; it has to be of your own free will
--Be willing to apply the changes
--Knowledge is just knowledge unless you put it into action
--When reading a book, only utilize what holds true to you and leave the rest
--Take one bite at a time - don't try to eat the whole apple at once or you will choke
--Be prepared to do the work and recognize that some habits and patterns and beliefs do not serve you so learn to let them go
--Learn to identify your fears and overcome them so that you are not controlled by them
--Never want something, always choose it, and it will come - play with this in a positive and empowering way
--Meditation practices are a great way to quiet the mind from the ego self
--Take full responsibility for where you are at in you life
--Open up to all possibilities in life and make your own choices and take full responsibility for what is part of your life
--Trust what you know - Live your life for you - Let go of beliefs and have ideas instead
--When you do something nice for someone - do it from the heart - not because you expect something back in return
--Don't make unreasonable requests of yourself
--Love yourself first because only then can you love another
--You can choose to "garbage it" if it doesn't empower you
--Follow your gut feelings...also known as intuition
--Be aware of your thought patterns - negative brings back negative TEN-FOLD
therefore, the opposite is also true - positive brings back positive TEN-FOLD
--We are co-creators; it is a God given gift when you learn to apply it in a positive way in your life
--Learn to say what you mean - not what you learnt to say (food for thought)
Habits, patterns and beliefs: If you find yourself being intrigued by any of the above - maybe just maybe - you could start applying them in your life. I know I did! Was it worth it? Absolutely!
In my final humble opinion, life is what you make it. You can either choose to create chaos or you can choose to create balance and harmony...the choice is all up to you.
And if you find yourself asking the same questions,"Is there more to life than this? - God, what is it all about? What is my life purpose?" Remember: "God helps those who take the steps to help themselves."
So again, I ask you - if the above has made an impact on you - then was it a coincidence that you are reading my article on this subject or were we co-creating? In that you put a thought out to the universe requiring the information and I answered?
